Montgomery Orthodontics
Straighter Smiles, Better Confidence
Orthodontic problems can impact kids, teens, and adults—in fact, it’s rare that anyone’s born with perfect teeth. Malocclusion, or a “bad bite”, can cause problems with chewing, oral hygiene, speaking, and appearance.
A bad bite can be genetic or can be caused by thumb sucking, dental disease, poor dental hygiene, accidents, birth defects, or other medical conditions.
Dr. Dyer has a level of experience and expertise to successfully treat many dental issues, like:
- Gaps between your teeth
- Crowded teeth
- Overbite
- Underbite
- Crossbite
- Protruding teeth
- Impacted teeth
Metal Braces & Other Options
Most patients we treat at Dentists 4 Children choose traditional metal braces to straighten their teeth. Metal braces are the most common type of orthodontic treatment in Montgomery, but you have other options, too.
After your first free consultation exam, Dr. Dyer will discuss which treatment would be right for you based on your unique needs and smile goals.
Fixed & Removable Appliances
Dr. Dyer believes you should feel confident in your treatment. It’s helpful for patients at our Montgomery office to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances.
Dr. Dyer attaches fixed appliances, like braces, to your teeth and won’t take them off until you complete your treatment at Dentists 4 Children. When he prescribes a removable appliance like Invisalign, you’ll wear it most of the day, but you can take the trays out of your mouth.
In addition to the obvious differences, Dr. Dyer uses Invisalign aligners to treat mild to moderate orthodontic problems and fixed appliances for more comprehensive treatment.
